Iowa Trip

This is one of our many, many Iowa trips but this particular trip really stands out in my mind... I think pictures will tell far better than I can explain. First, we went to my cousin Ben's wedding. We had a blast.

First this was our drive... This is typical Alice in every way... I am the soundest, hardest sleep every car ride... or most movie past 9pm. I love sleeping in the car.. but i don't love sleeping during EVERY movie. lol

Ahh over looking the beach/lake

Ben & Nikki

Andrew and myself at the wedding.

This is when it gets interesting. Andrew and I left to spend the night at our cousin's house (mom and dad stayed at the wedding)... here a few pictures from that.

Alex is my cousin's best friend... but i just consider him a cousin too. Wal-mart at

Andrew's broken toe and summer baseball

On Tuesday Andrew's team had a game under the lights (probably my favorite thing in the summer) unfortunately, Andrew broke his big toe on May 28th (2 days before the school year was over). He was barefoot in gym and he ran into a kid's heal. Broken toes are painful and not too serious... but this is pretty serious, he fractured his toe in 3 different places which is considered a shatter and if he doesn't wear his cast and breaks it again they will have to put a pin in his big toe. They put him in a air cast for 5 weeks but they'll xray it again at 2.5 weeks. Andrew is still in deinal and thinks he's gonna play within a week... hopefully the next appt. the doc will convince Andrew otherwise. It REALLY stinks seeing Andrew not able to play the love of his life and the games aren't nearly as fun to watch without him.

Gotta love under the lights baseball games!

Taylor, me and girlfriend Taylor. I've had alot of fun getting to know these girls. Andrew and Blonde Taylor have been going out for almost a year, yes, at age 15! I kinda like having another girl around the house....

At the baseball game!

My First Graduation Celebration (and first post)

It was such a special weekend, Aunt Debbie, Uncle John, and Grandma Holmes came down to visit. They aren't able to make my graduation party so instead they came down from IL on Friday and we all had a great time catching up and sweet conversation. Here are a few pictures of the jam packed weekend. A few of the highlights were: my new, dream, camera!, eating at The Orginal Pancake House (who can't resist), and I got a very fresh hair cut.

The whole Arentson family smiling? What, crazy!! Thats unheard of...

This would be my brother, Andrew, what a total stud!! Almost 16!

This is Billbre, the dog.

More to come :]
